Virginie Buytaert has a preference for female nude representations. She sculpts harmonious and elegant women and choses bronze to make her sculptures, which lends itself perfectly to it.

Her artistic vocation was subsequent to a love at first sight with Auguste Rodin, an artist she noticed when her father took her to the famous Museum Rodin in Paris.

Born in Antwerp (Belgium) in 1971, Virginie Buytaert studied at the Art Academy in Brussels. She perfected her art classes in Florence.
